Requesting Student Records
Once an application is submitted, our admissions office will request records from the student's current school. If transferring from Home School, the following applicable records will need to be submitted with your application...
Shadow Day
Cultivating the heart, character and mind of each student is the essence of who we are at Monroe Country Day School. This cultivation can only take place in an environment where students feel comfortable engaging in their classroom community. A shadow day allows your student to determine their level of comfort and it allows the teacher to gauge your student's level of engagement.
Student Placement Assessment
Educational excellence requires a coherent, cumulative and knowledge based curriculum that provides a specific grade-by-grade sequence of what students need to know. Our curriculum offers a detailed outline of the recommended content knowledge and skills to be taught in language arts, history, geography, mathematics and science. The assessment allows our admissions team to gain an understanding of the knowledge and skills with which your student is equipped and informs the appropriate placement in conformity to our curriculum's sequence.
Notice of Acceptance
Once the application process is complete, the admissions team will make a determination on acceptance. A member of our admissions team will notify you of acceptance within 7 days. When accepted, you will be provided with the necessary information to complete the enrollment process. There is a $275 fee associated with enrollment.
We appreciate your interest and hope to assist you in any way we can. If you have questions, please feel free to contact our admissions office at admissions@monroe.school or 770-267-8955.
